The 27th annual Martin Luther King Jr. commemoration at WUSTL will include a number of free events, from lectures to performances. Michel Martin, host of Tell Me More, National Public Radio’s one-hour daily news and talk show, will deliver the School of Medicine’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Lecture Monday, Jan. 20.

Nominations are being accepted for the annual Faculty Achievement Awards, known as the Arthur Holly Compton Faculty Achievement Award and the Carl and Gerty Cori Faculty Achievement Award.
WUSTL has joined an international group of researchers working to make great strides in advanced coal technologies. The university is now part of the U.S.-China Clean Energy Research Center-Advanced Coal Technology Consortium.
